The spirit of community is alive and well in Marion! Driven by volunteerism, the Marion Area Community Club (MACC) is a nonprofit organization that provides resources for the improvement, growth, and promotion of Marion.

The MACC places special emphasis on children. It is dedicated to building a strong, family-friendly community, where people want to stay for generations. The Marion Area Community Club achieves its goal by hosting a variety of annual events including:

• Easter Egg Hunt
• Scotch Doubles Bowling Tournament
• Summer Celebration Chislic Feed & Firework Display
• Sandbox Fill
• Stratton Memorial Poker Run
• Turner County Fair Enduro Race

In addition to hosting fundraising and fun-filled events, the MACC also donates time and financial resources to other organizations, city government and individuals in need of support. Recent accomplishments include the purchase and installation of new playground equipment in both the city park and ball park. The Marion Area Community Club extends all visitors a warm welcome and invites you to come and be a part of the community we call home.
